Community policing grants are open to government agencies, profit and nonprofit institutions community groups and faith-based organizations.
Community policing grants are used to advance the practice of community policing practices by local law enforcement agencies that are national in scope. The grants fund training and technical assistance, as well as the development of:
Up to $11 million is available through the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) 2017 Community Policing Development (CPD) program. Applications are due June 23, 2017.
