HUD AIDS Housing Grants Announced

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Program grants. A total of  $24 million in grants will support more than 1,200 low-income people with HIV/AIDS, and their families, through 25 local programs.

Grants support vital housing programs and services in 17 states.

Awards include:

• $1.98 million to Rhode Island Housing
• $757,211 to the Delaware HIV Consortium 
• $1.26 million to Baltimore’s Health Care for Homeless, Inc.
